Default Interesting Guild Policies

Anyone got any interesting Guild Policies? I've seen a Guild active in Ascalon City giving away starter (blue) items to any character lvl 10 or below. Don't know whether this was a Guild action or just the kindness of an individual.

The Guild i'm in always give away an amount of our excess stuff, be it Fiery Swords or whatnot. We like to help other people out. If someones short of 100 gold we'll give em a plat.

I was just wondering if any other guilds were organised to do similar things, or are we going against the flow of selling stuff for 100k in LA???

The main focus of the BSC is to help new players, whether they're from our guild or not, through the first four missions. We don't do everything for them, make sure to point out useful tactics like calling, and explain about doing the bonus quests and other stuff. I don't think there's enough newbie help in the beginning of the game and far too many people simply ignore questions.

You're kidding right - pre-searings is basically the biggest tutorial I've ever seen in a game Its those fools who go to the academy at a level < 7 the first time they play it, they deserve everything thats coming

Hmm...my friends told me to go to Post Searing ASAP, b/c theres awesome stuff there...I did fine. (after using a black dye on my pre searing armor) Of course, I was lv 6 at the time, but w/e.

Our guild doesn't help newbies by giving away free items...usually. Once in a while, one member or an officer feels generous, and gives away some gold item that they can't use, but usually, I don't take part. I paid 99% of 60k for the guild hall out of my own pocket...thats enough charity for me.

Odd guild policies in my guild? hmm...well, since we're beginning the noob purges (purges of extremely low level, inactive, annoying people) we're talking one on one with each member, and the officers are forming a list of cuts and safe members. I guess thats it. We pummel each individual member with questions, and see their answers. We also require all PvPers and GvGers to have vent...but that isn't unsual is it?

In our guild the Officers help everyone out. So far I know of atleast 12 sets of draknor's armor were bought buy our Officers for members. We have mature players that feel what makes a member stronger makes the guild stronger.

As far as voice over ip program we run a ts server and req member to use it to GvG.

No they don't. It's easy enough to find yourself in post-searing because you just did a few quests and talked to Armin then Tydus without knowing what would really happen. Happened to me first time through too. There are also a large number of gameplay facets not really covered, or covered very briefly, in the tutorial areas that most players could do with having explained.

I give un-ID'ed rares and purples away all the time. Of course, most of it goes to guild members, but sometimes I just give stuff away to random people. I also gave sorts of "presents" (included 7-9 un-ided purples an un-id'ed gold shield/wand/armor and a few dyes.) to a few people that I really liked party'ing/PvP'ing with. I don't really know if other officers in my guild do the same, and they probably don't , but, what I'm doing is a heck of a good way to burn some time (And a few hundred 'k').
